Beard Transplant Warwick

Get back to great hair

Last Reviewed: 10 September 2026

A beard transplant for Warwick patients costs a fixed £2,899, all-inclusive whatever the number of grafts, carried out in one day under local anaesthetic by GMC-registered surgeons at CQC-registered clinics. It thickens patchy growth or builds a new beard line using your own permanent hair, with 5☆ independently verified reviews and a free video consultation as the first step.

Beard Transplants for Warwick Patients with My Hair UK

A beard transplant is an FUE hair transplant applied to the face. Follicular units are taken one at a time from the donor area at the back and sides of your scalp, where hair is permanent, and placed into the cheeks, jawline, moustache or chin. Once healed they grow as beard hair: you shave it, trim it and style it like the rest. The full procedure is covered on our beard transplant page.

Most of the Warwick patients we hear from want thickening work rather than a beard built from nothing. Patchy cheeks, a gap between the moustache and the chin, thin sideburns or an uneven jawline are the typical cases. Patchiness is usually genetic, so it does not respond to waiting, and a transplant is the only treatment that adds permanent hair where there is none.

Your consultation happens either by video from home, or in-person with the surgeon who would carry out your procedure if you'd prefer to travel to the clinic (directions below). It is free, and you get an honest answer on whether a transplant is worth it in your case, including when it is not, along with your graft plan and the fixed price confirmed in writing before anything is booked.

Beard Transplant Cost in Warwick

A beard transplant costs £2,899 for Warwick patients. That is a single fixed price whatever the number of grafts, agreed before surgery, and it does not move on the day. It covers the surgeon's time, the anaesthetic, all clinic fees, aftercare products and your follow-up reviews. There is nothing to add and nothing to negotiate.

Most UK clinics price beard work per graft, which means the bill depends on a number you cannot check yourself. A fixed fee removes that conversation entirely: whether your plan needs 600 grafts around the chin or 2,500 for full construction, the price is the same £2,899. The full breakdown is on our beard transplant cost page.

How the Surgery Works

A beard transplant is a one-day procedure under local anaesthetic: design first, extraction second, placement third, home the same evening. The design is drawn on your face and agreed with you before surgery begins, because in beard work the outline is everything, and single-hair grafts are used along the edges so the result reads as grown rather than drawn on.

Beard hair also reads as full at a lower density than scalp work, around 25 to 40 grafts per square centimetre against the 40 a scalp hairline needs, which is why graft numbers that sound modest go a long way on the face. The safe ceiling is 3,500 grafts in a day, and even full beard construction sits comfortably inside a single day for most patients.

How Many Grafts Does a Beard Transplant Take?

Recovery-Timeline

Recovery, and When You Can Shave

The healing pattern is predictable. Fine dotted scabbing for the first week or two, mild redness that fades over the following weeks, and a shedding phase between weeks two and eight when the transplanted hairs fall out while the follicles stay put. The two patient photographs here show the difference a fortnight makes: small scabs at each graft the day after surgery, then clear skin with mild redness once they have dropped off at two weeks. New growth begins around month three and the final result settles between nine and twelve months.

The shaving rules are simple: nothing for two weeks, trimming after that, and a normal wet shave from around a month once the grafts are secure. Aftercare products are included in the price, and we have regular monthly check-ins with you to ensure your growth is progressing and offer free 6 & 12 month follow up consultations with your surgeon either by video or in-person.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What does a beard transplant cost for Warwick patients?

The price is £2,899, fixed and all-inclusive, however many grafts your plan needs. It covers the surgery, anaesthetic, clinic fees, aftercare products and follow-up reviews, and it is agreed in writing before surgery.

2. Is there a beard transplant clinic in Warwick?

Surgery for Warwick patients is carried out at CQC-registered clinics in central Manchester and Harrow, north-west London, rather than in Warwick itself. Because the procedure is completed in a single day, most patients treat it as one travel day, and everything before and after surgery can be handled by video from home, with the free consultation also available in-person at the clinic if you prefer.

3. Can you shave after a beard transplant?

Not for the first two weeks. The area can be trimmed after that, and normal shaving usually resumes from around a month once the grafts are secure.

4. How painful is beard transplant surgery?

Less than most patients expect. You are awake but fully numbed under local anaesthetic throughout, and the brief sting of the anaesthetic injections is typically the worst of it. Post-surgery discomfort is mild and settles within days.

5. Is a beard transplant really done in one day?

Yes. Design, extraction and placement all happen in one visit under local anaesthetic, even for full beard construction, and you go home the same day. That is why one travel day covers it for Warwick patients.

6. Will a beard transplant work for my patchy beard?

Genetic patchiness is exactly what the procedure is for, and it responds well. The exception is patchiness that appeared suddenly as smooth round spots, which can be alopecia barbae and needs a diagnosis first. The free photo assessment sorts one from the other.

7. Will the price change once the surgeon sees my beard?

No. £2,899 is the price for every beard transplant, agreed in writing before surgery, whatever graft count your plan turns out to need. There are no on-the-day additions.
