Beard Transplant Nuneaton

Get back to great hair

Last Reviewed: 10 September 2026

A beard transplant thickens patchy areas or shapes a new beard line using your own permanent hair. For Nuneaton patients the price is a fixed £2,899, 5☆ rated and all-inclusive with no hidden extras, delivered in a single day by GMC-registered surgeons at CQC-registered clinics. A few photographs and a free video consultation are enough for a clear plan and an honest answer on suitability.

Beard Transplant Surgery in Nuneaton with My Hair UK

A beard transplant is an FUE hair transplant applied to the face. Follicular units are taken one at a time from the donor area at the back and sides of your scalp, where hair is permanent, and placed into the cheeks, jawline, moustache or chin. Once healed they grow as beard hair: you shave it, trim it and style it like the rest. The full procedure is covered on our beard transplant page.

Most of the Nuneaton patients we hear from want thickening work rather than a beard built from nothing. Patchy cheeks, a gap between the moustache and the chin, thin sideburns or an uneven jawline are the typical cases. Patchiness is usually genetic, so it does not respond to waiting, and a transplant is the only treatment that adds permanent hair where there is none.

Your consultation happens either by video from home, or in-person with the surgeon who would carry out your procedure if you'd prefer to travel to the clinic (directions below). It is free, and you get an honest answer on whether a transplant is worth it in your case, including when it is not, along with your graft plan and the fixed price confirmed in writing before anything is booked.

Cost

Beard Transplant Cost in Nuneaton

A beard transplant costs £2,899 for Nuneaton patients. That is a single fixed price whatever the number of grafts, agreed before surgery, and it does not move on the day. It covers the surgeon's time, the anaesthetic, all clinic fees, aftercare products and your follow-up reviews. There is nothing to add and nothing to negotiate.

Most UK clinics price beard work per graft, which means the bill depends on a number you cannot check yourself. A fixed fee removes that conversation entirely: whether your plan needs 600 grafts around the chin or 2,500 for full construction, the price is the same £2,899. The full breakdown is on our beard transplant cost page.

The Procedure, Start to Finish

The procedure runs in a single day under local anaesthetic. You are awake throughout, and most patients find the numbing injections the only uncomfortable part. Grafts are extracted individually from the donor area of the scalp, then placed one at a time at the flat angle beard hair naturally grows, following a design agreed with you before surgery starts.

The design stage matters more in beard work than anywhere else, because every line is on show. Before anything is placed, the surgeon draws the cheek line, jawline, neckline and moustache join directly onto your face and agrees it with you. Single-hair grafts go along the outlines, where the eye is most sensitive, so the edges look grown rather than drawn. You go home the same day.

Recovery-Timeline

Beard Transplant Recovery Timeline

Recovery is quicker than most patients expect. For the first few days the treated area shows a small scab at each graft with some redness, and the scabs lift over the first two weeks. The patient photographs in this section show it honestly: fine dotted scabbing the day after surgery, then the same beard at two weeks with the scabs cleared and only slight redness remaining. Do not shave the transplanted area for the first two weeks; after that it can be trimmed, and normal shaving usually resumes from around a month once the grafts are secure.

Between roughly week two and week eight the transplanted hairs shed. This is normal and it is not the grafts failing: the follicles stay in place, new growth starts at around three months, and the beard reaches its final density between nine and twelve months. We keep in touch through the regrowth period with regular monthly check-ins, and you have free follow-up consultations with your surgeon at 6 and 12 months, by video or in-person.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What does a beard transplant cost for Nuneaton patients?

The price is £2,899, fixed and all-inclusive, however many grafts your plan needs. It covers the surgery, anaesthetic, clinic fees, aftercare products and follow-up reviews, and it is agreed in writing before surgery.

2. Is there a beard transplant clinic in Nuneaton?

Surgery for Nuneaton patients is carried out at CQC-registered clinics in central Manchester and Harrow, north-west London, rather than in Nuneaton itself. Because the procedure is completed in a single day, most patients treat it as one travel day, and everything before and after surgery can be handled by video from home, with the free consultation also available in-person at the clinic if you prefer.

3. What is the beard transplant recovery timeline?

Roughly two weeks of visible scabbing and redness, a shedding phase between weeks two and eight, new growth from month three, and final density between nine and twelve months. Most patients are back at work within days.

4. How do I know if my patchy beard is alopecia barbae?

The pattern is the clue: alopecia barbae typically shows as smooth, round patches that appeared relatively suddenly, while genetic patchiness has usually been there since your beard first came in. The surgical team screens for this at the photo assessment stage.

5. What does the price include?

Everything attached to the procedure: the surgeon and surgical team, local anaesthetic, clinic facilities, aftercare products and your follow-up reviews. There are no extras added on the day.

6. Am I too young for a beard transplant?

If your beard pattern is still filling in, possibly, and the surgical team will say so rather than operate early. Most men's patterns settle by the mid twenties. There is no upper age limit provided the donor area is healthy.

7. How does aftercare work for Nuneaton patients?

You leave the clinic with aftercare products and clear instructions, then we check in with you monthly to make sure your growth is progressing, and you have free follow-up consultations with your surgeon at 6 and 12 months, by video or in-person. If anything needs a closer look sooner, the clinic is available.
