What is included in the price
For Norwood 5, the price covers the whole two-stage plan. It starts with a free consultation, where the surgeon maps out which areas each procedure will treat. Each procedure is an FUE under local anaesthetic, and after each one you go home with your medication and an aftercare kit, then come back for in-person checks while the new hair grows. Nothing is charged for the consultation, and nothing is added on either surgery day.

Two procedures: how the price works
Because up to 3,500 grafts can be placed in one procedure, Norwood 5 is always two procedures, at least six months apart, and the price covers both. The total is the same as the two procedures priced separately: 5,000 grafts, for example, is a first procedure of 3,500 grafts (£4,899) and a second of 1,500 (£3,299), £8,198 in all. Some people restore the front first and decide on the crown later, once its loss has settled; in that case only the first procedure is booked at this stage. The free consultation sets out the plan and the price for each procedure before you spend anything.
How you pay
Each procedure is paid for on its own. A 50% Booking Fee secures that surgery date, and the remaining balance is paid on the day of the procedure. With the second procedure at least six months after the first, the cost of a Norwood 5 transplant is spread over two surgeries months apart, and both prices are agreed in writing before you book.
