Beard Transplant Leamington Spa

Get back to great hair

Last Reviewed: 10 September 2026

Beard transplant pricing for Leamington Spa patients is 5☆ all-inclusive at a fixed £2,899, whatever the number of grafts, with GMC-registered surgeons at CQC-registered clinics and no hidden extras. The procedure fills patchy growth or builds a new beard line in a single day under local anaesthetic, and it starts with a free video consultation from home.

Beard Transplants for Leamington Spa Patients with My Hair UK

A beard transplant is an FUE hair transplant applied to the face. Follicular units are taken one at a time from the donor area at the back and sides of your scalp, where hair is permanent, and placed into the cheeks, jawline, moustache or chin. Once healed they grow as beard hair: you shave it, trim it and style it like the rest. The full procedure is covered on our beard transplant page.

Most of the Leamington Spa patients we hear from want thickening work rather than a beard built from nothing. Patchy cheeks, a gap between the moustache and the chin, thin sideburns or an uneven jawline are the typical cases. Patchiness is usually genetic, so it does not respond to waiting, and a transplant is the only treatment that adds permanent hair where there is none.

Your consultation happens either by video from home, or in-person with the surgeon who would carry out your procedure if you'd prefer to travel to the clinic (directions below). It is free, and you get an honest answer on whether a transplant is worth it in your case, including when it is not, along with your graft plan and the fixed price confirmed in writing before anything is booked.

Cost

Beard Transplant Cost in Leamington Spa

A beard transplant costs £2,899 for Leamington Spa patients. That is a single fixed price whatever the number of grafts, agreed before surgery, and it does not move on the day. It covers the surgeon's time, the anaesthetic, all clinic fees, aftercare products and your follow-up reviews. There is nothing to add and nothing to negotiate.

Most UK clinics price beard work per graft, which means the bill depends on a number you cannot check yourself. A fixed fee removes that conversation entirely: whether your plan needs 600 grafts around the chin or 2,500 for full construction, the price is the same £2,899. The full breakdown is on our beard transplant cost page.

How a Beard Transplant Works

A beard transplant is a one-day procedure under local anaesthetic: design first, extraction second, placement third, home the same evening. The design is drawn on your face and agreed with you before surgery begins, because in beard work the outline is everything, and single-hair grafts are used along the edges so the result reads as grown rather than drawn on.

Beard hair also reads as full at a lower density than scalp work, around 25 to 40 grafts per square centimetre against the 40 a scalp hairline needs, which is why graft numbers that sound modest go a long way on the face. The safe ceiling is 3,500 grafts in a day, and even full beard construction sits comfortably inside a single day for most patients.

Healing, Shaving and Results

The healing pattern is predictable. Fine dotted scabbing for the first week or two, mild redness that fades over the following weeks, and a shedding phase between weeks two and eight when the transplanted hairs fall out while the follicles stay put. The two patient photographs here show the difference a fortnight makes: small scabs at each graft the day after surgery, then clear skin with mild redness once they have dropped off at two weeks. New growth begins around month three and the final result settles between nine and twelve months.

The shaving rules are simple: nothing for two weeks, trimming after that, and a normal wet shave from around a month once the grafts are secure. Aftercare products are included in the price, and we have regular monthly check-ins with you to ensure your growth is progressing and offer free 6 & 12 month follow up consultations with your surgeon either by video or in-person.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What does a beard transplant cost for Leamington Spa patients?

The price is £2,899, fixed and all-inclusive, however many grafts your plan needs. It covers the surgery, anaesthetic, clinic fees, aftercare products and follow-up reviews, and it is agreed in writing before surgery.

2. Is there a beard transplant clinic in Leamington Spa?

Surgery for Leamington Spa patients is carried out at CQC-registered clinics in central Manchester and Harrow, north-west London, rather than in Leamington Spa itself. Because the procedure is completed in a single day, most patients treat it as one travel day, and everything before and after surgery can be handled by video from home, with the free consultation also available in-person at the clinic if you prefer.

3. Do I need to visit a clinic for a beard transplant consultation?

Only if you would like to: an in-person consultation at the clinic is always available. Most consultations are held by video with the surgeon who would perform your procedure, based on photographs you send in advance, and they are free either way. Leamington Spa patients typically only travel once, on the day of surgery.

4. How do I know if my patchy beard is alopecia barbae?

The pattern is the clue: alopecia barbae typically shows as smooth, round patches that appeared relatively suddenly, while genetic patchiness has usually been there since your beard first came in. The surgical team screens for this at the photo assessment stage.

5. Are there any hidden costs with a beard transplant?

Not here. The £2,899 covers surgery, anaesthetic, clinic fees, aftercare products and follow-up reviews, and it is agreed in writing before surgery. The only cost on top is your own travel to the clinic.

6. How does the UK compare with Turkey for beard transplants?

The honest comparison is price against accountability. Turkish packages usually cost less, but follow-up happens by messaging app, and any complication is a long way from the clinic that caused it. A UK procedure at a fixed £2,899 keeps your surgeon, your records and your aftercare in the same country as you.

7. Will new grafts blend with my existing beard hair?

They will, provided the angles are right, which is a placement skill. Grafts are set flat to the skin in the direction your existing beard grows, and since the donor hair is your own it matches in colour and texture and greys along with the rest.
