Beard transplant pricing for Walsall patients is 5☆ all-inclusive at a fixed £2,899, whatever the number of grafts, with GMC-registered surgeons at CQC-registered clinics and no hidden extras. The procedure fills patchy growth or builds a new beard line in a single day under local anaesthetic, and it starts with a free video consultation from home.
Beard Transplants for Walsall Patients with My Hair UK
A patchy or incomplete beard is one of the few cosmetic problems with a genuinely permanent fix. A beard transplant moves follicular units, one at a time, from the donor area at the back and sides of your scalp into the areas of your beard that need them. Donor hair is not affected by balding, so once the transplanted hairs grow in they are yours for good: shaved, trimmed and styled like the rest. The surgery is explained fully on our beard restoration and transplant page.
For Walsall patients the practical shape of it is one free consultation, by video from home or in-person at the clinic, then a single day of surgery, because even full beard construction fits within one session. Everything is settled beforehand: the design, the graft plan and the fixed £2,899 price, all agreed with the surgeon before the day itself.
Whether you are a good candidate depends on your growth pattern and what you want to achieve. Patchy cheeks, thin sideburns and gaps around the chin respond well. If your patchiness appeared suddenly as smooth round spots, that can be alopecia barbae, which needs a diagnosis rather than a transplant, and the surgeon will tell you so plainly at consultation.
Beard Transplant Cost in Walsall
£2,899 is the complete price of a beard transplant for Walsall patients: one fixed, all-inclusive fee agreed in writing before surgery, whatever the number of grafts placed on the day. UK beard work is widely quoted anywhere from £3,000 to £7,000 depending on graft count, so a fixed fee at this level is deliberately competitive, and it means a bigger plan never carries a penalty.
The fee covers everything attached to the day itself: the surgeon and surgical team, anaesthetic, clinic facilities, aftercare products and your follow-up reviews. What the price includes and how it compares is set out in full on our beard transplant cost page.
How Much Does a Beard Transplant Cost in Walsall?
Whatever combination of areas your plan covers, the price is the same:
| Area | Typical Grafts | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Moustache | 400-500 | £2,899 |
| Sideburns | 200-300 each side | £2,899 |
| Goatee and chin | 600-700 | £2,899 |
| Cheeks | 300-600 each side | £2,899 |
| Full beard | 2,000-2,500 | £2,899 |
The Procedure, Start to Finish
On the day itself you are at the clinic for several hours, awake, under local anaesthetic. The surgeon first draws the design on your face and agrees every line with you: the cheek line, the jawline and neckline, how the moustache joins the chin, and how new growth blends into any beard you already have. Nothing is placed until you are happy with those lines.
Grafts are then extracted one follicular unit at a time from the back and sides of your scalp, where hair is a close match for beard hair and keeps its permanence. Each graft is placed flat to the skin in the direction beard hair grows, with single-hair grafts along the visible edges. It is one day of surgery, and you go home the same evening.
How Many Grafts Does a Beard Transplant Take?
As a guide, these are the graft ranges each beard area usually needs:
| Area | Typical Grafts |
|---|---|
| Sideburns | 200-300 each side |
| Moustache | 400-500 |
| Goatee and chin | 600-700 |
| Cheeks | 300-600 each side |
| Full beard | 2,000-2,500 |

Beard Transplant Recovery Timeline
Recovery is quicker than most patients expect. For the first few days the treated area shows a small scab at each graft with some redness, and the scabs lift over the first two weeks. The patient photographs in this section show it honestly: fine dotted scabbing the day after surgery, then the same beard at two weeks with the scabs cleared and only slight redness remaining. Do not shave the transplanted area for the first two weeks; after that it can be trimmed, and normal shaving usually resumes from around a month once the grafts are secure.
Between roughly week two and week eight the transplanted hairs shed. This is normal and it is not the grafts failing: the follicles stay in place, new growth starts at around three months, and the beard reaches its final density between nine and twelve months. We keep in touch through the regrowth period with regular monthly check-ins, and you have free follow-up consultations with your surgeon at 6 and 12 months, by video or in-person.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. What does a beard transplant cost for Walsall patients?
The price is £2,899, fixed and all-inclusive, however many grafts your plan needs. It covers the surgery, anaesthetic, clinic fees, aftercare products and follow-up reviews, and it is agreed in writing before surgery.
2. Do I need to travel from Walsall for a beard transplant?
Yes, once. Surgery is a single day at a CQC-registered partner clinic in central Manchester or Harrow, north-west London, whichever suits you better. The consultation is free, by video from home or in-person at the clinic if you prefer, and follow-up runs by video unless you would rather come in, so the only required travel is the day of surgery itself.
3. Will the transplanted beard hair fall out again?
The transplanted hairs shed once, between roughly weeks two and eight after surgery, which is a normal part of the cycle. The follicles themselves stay in place, regrow from around three months, and are then permanent.
4. How soon after a beard transplant can I shave normally?
Around a month. For the first two weeks the transplanted area is not shaved at all, from week two it can be trimmed, and once the grafts are secure at about the one-month mark normal shaving resumes.
5. Does the fixed price cover aftercare?
Yes. Aftercare products are provided as part of the £2,899, and the monthly check-ins and free 6 and 12 month follow-up consultations with your surgeon are included rather than billed separately.
6. Will new grafts blend with my existing beard hair?
They will, provided the angles are right, which is a placement skill. Grafts are set flat to the skin in the direction your existing beard grows, and since the donor hair is your own it matches in colour and texture and greys along with the rest.
7. What aftercare support do I get after a beard transplant?
Aftercare products and instructions on the day, regular monthly check-ins to make sure your growth is progressing, and free follow-up consultations with your surgeon at 6 and 12 months, by video or in-person. For Walsall patients the routine contact all happens from home.
